We’d planned a long weekend to Sandbach and then it turned out it was the same weekend as one of our friend’s birthday – so we combined the two events into one
Starting at Ladybird Moorings and finishing at Ladybird Moorings with overnight stops at : Hoolgrave Bridge No 11, Wheelock Visitor Moorings, and Nantwich Visitor Moorings (south). A total distance of 63 miles, 2 flg and 64 locks.
Having done this before we knew just where to stop and what the timings were. The weather was a bit mixed but considering the time of year, and the weather we’d had just a week earlier we were quite lucky, and we managed to dodge quite a lot of the rain.
