One if by land, and two if by sea

The original plan was to go all the way to Boston and throw some tea in the harbour (well the C&RT visitor moorings anyway). But due to things like the tides on the Trent it was going to make things pretty awkward and tight timing wise so we basically went as far as Lincoln instead.

Starting at Ladybird Moorings and finishing at Ladybird Moorings with overnight stops at : Aqueduct over un-named stream, Tixall Bridge No 106, Tatenhill Lock Narrows, Cranfleet Railway Bridge No 2, Farndon Marina, Saxilby Village Wharf Moorings, Torksey Visitor Moorings, Cromwell Lock Weir Entrance, Holme Lock Weir Entrance, Shardlow, Ordish Bridge No 33E, Rugeley North Visitor Moorings, Straight Mile Turn, and Shebdon Aqueduct. A total distance of 312 miles, 6½ flg and 112 locks.

I’m not sure how many lanterns they should hang in the church in Boston if you come via river and canal – that will have to wait until some other time
